The World’s Tallest, Fastest And Most Extreme Waterslide. Get A Glimpse From The Top!

I’m fond of a good water slide. It’s a short lived adrenalin rush through water.

This latest water slide being built at Schlitterbahn Water Park in Kansas City looks a far different encounter from the rapids at Center Parcs.

Aptly named VERRUCKT (which means insane in German) MEG-A-BLASTER is set to topple the world’s currently most adrenalin inducing water slide, Insano at Beach Park in Brazil.

They’re holding their cards close to their chest with dimensions and we won’t know until it’s all completed but we do know if it beats the Beach Park in Brazil the slide will stand tall at over 134.5 feet and deliver humans along at over 65mph.

VERRUCKT MEG-A-BLASTER

In a highly unscientific poll on our Facebook page around half said they wouldn’t give it a go. Although I’m sure the creators won’t find it difficult to find thrill-seekers brave enough to leap off.

I understand that as it’s a four-person raft ride this makes it safer than if it was solo. Still, this means someone is going to go down backwards. No thanks!

As you hurtle down from the tower (if that wasn’t enough!) you’ll then pass over a five story hill!

The official height will be revealed at an official measuring event in Spring 2014. Until then you have these pictures and the video below to build the suspense! (skip to 30 seconds in).
